Today was the day!  After signing so many papers that our hands began to cramp, we are home owners!  Today we were able to visit our home and take the keys with us.  Our first stop was make keys and purchase a mail box.  I hope that all of the choices we have to make on the house go as smoothly as choosing the mailbox (who knew there were so many choices!)  Keep following us on our journey, I have a feeling the house is going to look much different each week.  Our first step is plumbing, and as we are unable to do that ourselves, we will be working to tackle our overgrown yard while the plumber works inside the house.

Peace.  What a great reminder that in the midst of all of the big changes coming our way, we must calm our hearts and believe in the awesome plan God has in store for us.  We are working hard to get all of the necessarily paperwork into our HUD consultant as well as our loan underwriting.  We knew this process would be long...but had no idea how much paperwork was involved.  We hope to know in the next few weeks if we are official home owners.  As the end of the school year rapidly approaches for Kendra, we think more and more about all of the changes that next year could bring.  Will next school year mean a new house and a new teaching job?
